I heard that Blaser will stop production of it's double rifle. Old news? Hoax?

Biebs told me this is the only double than will shoot under a "oil drum" of angle at 50 yards.

He also said it was too well engineered for the double rifle crowd. And that the R-8 w/ steel is the future.

But then he has also mentioned he looks like Robert Redford.

Not sure if its a hoax but there were a lot fewer of them at the Blaser booth this year at the SCI show.

Well, I own a Blaser S2 in 500NE and it will be the last of my double guns I sell. It has a QD scope mount that returns to zero perfectly and is very accurate. Now the odds of me using it in Africa are close to zero, but I will still keep it and shoot it! You guys can stick to your Merkels, but I LOVE my Blaser S2. But then, I also own a Blaser R93 with 3 barrels. Guess I am beyond redemption!

That is a good place for it for the Blaser double rifle, Far, far into the future when it is the only gun allowed! The R8 is OK other than being push feed however.

Biebs, I cannot remember a time when I ever cared about crowds or what they thought! That gun is MINE and I love it. The accuracy is just plain boring and the Zeiss scope is just incredible.
