I have purchased several rifles from Charles Prince with Eurogun Imports in Houston. Charles sells Heym, Chapuis and Krieghoff doubles. Charles asked me to post some pictures of a Heym Model 55B that he recently received from Heym for a client here in the US. The rifle is a .450/.400 3â€, but it also has a set of 20 gauge shotgun barrels that you can see in a couple of the pictures. The engraving is first rate and all in all the rifle looks like it would be a fine double typical of the quality one would expect from Heym. Charles can provide more details for anyone that might be interested.

First of all, I have to confess that I am not a fan of the Germanic styling. With that off my chest, I will say that it looks like first-class workmanship that should be admired.

How fast is it to reload under pressure with those two huge Kersten bolts?

Just wondering...

I have one of these with a 20-ga. 3" over a .30/'06 with a Suhler claw scope-mount setup. It has a set of 12-ga shotgun barrels as well. It is a superb gun, and it balances and handles very fast!

I wish I could make such a thing.

I am sure it will serve the owner well.

I am interested, that's for sure. I think this is the nicest rifle I have seen on AR.

I love Germanic styling, especially that of Heym.

Very classy, I love the bold relief buffalo engraving! Should make one heck of a rig for buff hunting in a perfect buffalo caliber.

V. Nice gun -- well out of my price range, but quite nice.

Beautiful gun, add a barrel in .300 WinMag and you could hunt anything, anywhere.

What's the cost on it, and how long's the wait??

Reckon he'd take a slightly-used old lady who can cook in trade??

Superb rifle! Typically I am not an O/U guy, but that gun could change my mind.
