Guys, I just got back from shooting my 9,3X62 Mauser. I got load data for this cartridge from the Hodgdon web site. Fifty nine grains of Varget pushes a 286 Woodliegh from my rifle at about 2360-2380 fps. I am looking really hard at a double in 9,3X74R. Does anyone have any load data or a suggested powder that would give me similar results with the 9,3X74R? The only powder that Hodgdon shows that gets close is H414 and I am not a big fan of ball powder. Dave there is plenty of load data available. Check Favorite loads and the Reloading forums below. I have used IMR 4064 with Speer 270's very successfully with my Tikka 512SD.
