Have just put a holding deposit on a Wolf double rifle in 8x57IRS topped with a Zeiss 1,5-6x42 scope.

No pictures yet but will post as soon as I have some. Seeing and testing the rifle in Europe in August!

Should be a great rifle for driven shoots and also African plains game ....

Is it a new build, post 1960 build, or older?
How about citing the details that you do have now ?

Wolf used to build for Merkel, but this is a Wolf own build.

Double in 8x57IRS, Anson action, ejectors, front set trigger and standard left trigger, walnut stock and fore, open leaf at 50 over a brass bead and mounted with a Zeiss scope. Build around 1980 and barrels said to be in superb condition. Engraving wild boar and roe.
Not sure about twist.

Pictures asap.

Charlie
