At least with the 286 gr Hornady. Need to stretch it out to 100 yards and beyond and swap to the Partition and see how it goes.

Very well done sir! I assume 50 yds, a composite group of less than 1.5 inches at 50 yds is great! A composite group even three times that size at 100 is almost unheard of. I have a feeling the deer and wild hogs in your area are in some trouble! ...................... ....Mac >>>===(x)===> MacD37, ...and DUGABOY1 DRSS Charter member "If I die today, I've had a life well spent, for I've been to see the Elephant, and smelled the smoke of Africa!"~ME 1982 Hands of Old Elmer Keith

Good shooting. Please forward the next targets after you have made adjustments to get the iron sights to shoot poa. Great groups so far. Good luck with the adjustments. You should have no problems based upon these initial first shots. Well done. I think the target shows how much easier it is shooting at a small 1" or so dot than trying to shoot at a 10 ring inside an 8" black circle. I find it's much easier to get the same sight picture aiming at a 1" dot, be it like the above or a 1" White circle on an 8" Black ring. Just my HO. .
