What oil or treatments do you recommend for a wood stock. I noticed that my wood on my searcy was looking little dry. Any suggestions? Has anyone heard of "velvet oil"? nothin sweeter than the smell of fresh blood on your hunting boots

I asked Searcy's stock guy what they applied to the wood and he said it was a type of tung oil. Call them I'm sure the'll tell you the brand.

The most common English oil finish is a mixture of Linnseed oil, bees was and driers. If you want the down and skinny mixture email me. Corbin Shell corbinshell@mindspring.com
