What oil or treatments do you recommend for a wood stock. I noticed that my wood on my searcy was looking little dry. Any suggestions? Has anyone heard of "velvet oil"?

I asked Searcy's stock guy what they applied to the wood and he said it was a type of tung oil. Call them I'm sure the'll tell you the brand.

I like TEAK oil from Daly's in Seattle. Nice soft durable finish.

The most common English oil finish is a mixture of Linnseed oil, bees was and driers. If you want the down and skinny mixture email me.
