Several had posted that they have Classic's on order. Just wondering if anyone has taken delivery of one of these from Searcy.

Any pictures? The only photo I've seen is the one on Butch's website.

I think Mjines has one. The one he showed me was a great look'n rifle.

I have a 470NE Searcy Classic. I have to confess I haven't shot it as much as I would of liked (have only had it to the range twice).

I like it.

I never tire of posting this picture of my rifle:

It shoots Butch's realitively hot .450/.400 loads into less than 2" at 100 yards.
I like it!

JudgeG ... just counting time 'til I am again finding balm in Gilead chilled out somewhere in the Selous.

Good news. Hornaday has announced that they are making loaded 450NE 3 1/4" ammo. Brass shouldn't be far behind. See the relevant thrad on Big Bores.

Congratulations. They just keep getting better.

We look forward to the report of your first safari with this rifle.

ALLEN W. JOHNSON - DRSS

Into my heart on air that kills
From yon far country blows:
What are those blue remembered hills,
What spires, what farms are those?
That is the land of lost content,
I see it shining plain,
The happy highways where I went
And cannot come again.
