Many hogs perished at the hands of the DRSS. 577NE had the largest as of sunday morning, a 320 pound boar. 15 hogs were slayed saturday evening. The shoot on saturday was very enjoyable and fun was had by all. Sundays shoot at Monte's "Safari Shooting School" was awsome. Multiple targets, and move and shoot scenarios. It made a mouse out of me. It rained off and on all weekend. It was hot and humid. Lots of bugs because of the rain. The ranch was great as was the food. The guides and the cook were A+#1. I think I gained a few pounds.

You can borrow money, but you can't borrow time. Don't wait, go now.

Looks like a great time. Sorry I missed the hunt. I would have been a lot happier with y'all than sweat'n my ass off in Cancun.

I did bring home a lovely sinus infection so the trips wasn't a total loss! Eeker

Bal, I love the gaitors!

What spires, what farms are those?

I see it shining plain,
The happy highways where I went

Looks like y'all had a great time. I was starting to think that the hogs had won, having to wait till now to get a report.

Who made up the plywood DG critters?

Rusty - I thought they were gaitors too, but apparently not.

Bal said they had something to do with sheep legs... or something to that effect. bewildered

What a great time, It was so nice to meet you guys. As a newbe to doubles you guys put up with all my question, and made me feel at home, and were real gentlemen about it. Thanks to 577 and new guy for makeing things run so smooth, and to Katte and Monty for the good shooting. The ranch staff was great, what a ranch. It was worth the 12 hour drive 2X over.

Hi Guys
Sitting in London after a long flight. Did some credit card damage in Cabelas yesterday! Thank you all for a super weekend and great companionship! Big thanks to Paul - 577, Brad, Matt and all the folks at 4K Ranch for setting up such a wonderful event. Who needs a big bore if you have a Cold Steel handy........
Happy Hunting
