Nice rifle but shameful to speak of double rifles when the inventor of the AK 47 just kicked the bucket.
Do as do I, Jim, Hide it away in shame or prepare for Shootaway to drag it through the dirt. While he has placed all of our rifles as garbage and all of us as losers, I wonder how he classifies he new rifle that is on the way to him?
Jim, I do hope we can shoot a bit this spring. Don't spend all of your funds as my .500 Watson may be up for sale by summer. Not sure yet.

I was impressed by the pictures from the haircut party. Haven't seen that many fit people in a barbershop at the same time.

I think Joyce will love that rifle.

BTW, if all dbl rifles are trash, why is Hoot a Way getting one?

I think he is temperamental- 90% temper and 10% mental. Must be the conversion from Celsius to Farenheit.

I do believe his belief is that 100 year old British doubles are trash, whereas a modern double is a work of art, whether it needs to be repaired repeatedly or not.

I don't think Shootaway ever said all double rifles are trash, just vintage doubles from the UK. I'm sure any double he owns or single barrel are fine weapons.

You are too quick to judge. Not everyone has the skill to pattern a rifle like a load of buckshot or a magazine load of Rob's Thompson .45.

I wonder if Shootaway will get the same accuracy in his double as I do with my 4-bore: one shot, one inch group and ANY distance!

I'm out of state tomorrow, see you in January and I'll have a table at the Palmer show.
