FrostbitDifferent Webley actions
Can someone explain the difference between the Webley actions I have been reading about on here. I realize it's asking a lot but pictures with the description would be helpful.
Such as comparing a A&WC Webley to a Webley PHV-1.
Cheers

jens poulsenThanks Frostbite!!.
Very informative indeed. Nice to see that someone was still using the backaction Jones underlever system at as late as 1914. I believe J.W. Tolley also used it quite late up to 1914.

Fallow BuckThe Nice thing about the jones underlever is that it will always keep the gun on the face. You just push the lever tight and it is done!!
Tolley's back action 8-bores with a Jones underlever are a thing of beauty, and probably as good a goose gun as you could ask for.
