I also have this issue. Tried to send an email to NE address and it bounced back. Any help on how to contact the admin would be appreciated.

Yes an Australian owned site and not the first time it has been taken down if indeed that is what has happened. I understand from various posts by the owner that he used to be a member of AR but got booted out so set up his own site and forum.
I good forum and hope it is back up and running soon.

Last night, the forum was all that would not work. The other parts of the web site seemed to work properly.
AS of 6:30 am CDT today, the forum still cannot be accessed. Frowner

I got this message from NE.com :

"Dear NE forums member,

The NitroExpress.com Forums are temporarily down.

One of the database files which make up the forums appears to have been corrupted. First time this has happened in some 16 years the forums has operated.

I have asked the ISP to follow up this, they are usually a bit slow though. I have asked them to backup the existing forums databases, as they are. As a reserve. If needed the relevant database file may be able to be manually repaired.

But I have a backup of the forums databases from approximately two weeks ago. This will be restored and hopefully the forums work fine, just with the loss of those subsequent weeks of posts and any new members admitted in that time.

Hopefully this can be done reasonably quickly and either the first or second option work fine.

Regards

John aka NitroX"
