I have a number of pistols that he has finished and his work is the best-of-the-best.

Keith Kearcher, Griffin and Howe, and JJ Perodeau are three I would add to the list.

Keith does a good job...Lon Paul can do the work too. Don't know what he is doing after the tragic fire...but the WR I saw he did,the work was flawless!

Keith is doing very little now...he is slipping off into retirement and nephew Cory taking over in his tracks at Keith's shop!
I'll bet he will do work behind the scenes for a while...??
Turnbull is a master for CaseColor...but rewooding a double can be VERY Expensive....you might consider your total cost and resale values before you embark....unless it doesn't matter! Might consider original maker if they are still around.
You might want to consider a young specialist like Aaron Little that is moving out on his own and is said to do fine work....did under Baily Bradshaw.
Cheers,

I visited Kody and Keith Kearcher yesterday, checking progress on a restoration on a Lefever drilling. Kody now does most of the work, with Keith looking over his shoulder as needed.
