Just to let you know I will be testing my Searcy 500NE at the range in a little over a weeks time. BTW,I do not accept credit cards.Just send 20 dollars cash.  [URL=  ]50yds off the bench, left and right,570gr Woodleigh solids.[/URL]Glad to see the rifle has kept its POI and its accuracy after being stored away for a while.Fired two shots and went home.There was a small crowd in attendance,all gathered around my bench,they seemed impressed by the 500NE and of course the shooter! | ||

Not that impressing me means much, but if Shootaway and his detractors actually become civil and respectful to each other, I will be impressed. In the last decade, I don't think I have ever been crossways with someone on an Internet forum and been able to resolve that. | |||

Nice group for 50m. Before I go on my ele hunts, I spend about 6 weeks shooting offhand at varying ranges , mostly 10 - 25m as this is your most common range of shooting them. I generally practice a quick mount and shoot both barrels as fast and accurately as possible. I also practice my reloads from my cartridge belt . This is also as important as straight shooting . Generally shoot 20-30 rounds per session. Good luck on your safari. Are you hunting in Dande east? I'll be there late May. Nick | |||
