Any advice on loads for a Chapuis .470? I've seen this one: 108 grains IMR4831, 500 grain Woodleigh soft nose, F215 primer. Any others out there that are recommended?
Thanks

Yes that is a load that could work, but I would never start at the max right off, start lower, shoot over a chrono and work your way back up,each rifle is different, what works for one might not work for another.

I use IMR 4350. I tested loads from 96gr. to 106gr. and found 102gr works best in my Chapuis .470

Do you have to use filler with the IMR 4350 powder?
