Buddy of mine would like me to sell several of his rifles, one of which is a Merkel over/under 9.3x74r. The other rifles are easy to figure the value, but I am not that familiar with pricing fine old double rifles. I was hoping I may get a little assistance from the wealth of knowledge present here. I apologize for the cluttered pics, his gun room is in the process of reorganizing.

Yes they are. Makes it tough to be accurate in pricing. I could just post it with the other rifles and place a "price" on it; if I'm too high I'm sure someone will tell me.

The expensive one you see are usually 303 sidelock guns. This is a boxlock...I'd say $5,500 to $7,000, but you may wait a while. As you probably know, O/U double rifles are not nearly as popular state-side as SxS.
