They are going for both ends of the spectrum. They had also bought Chapuis recently.

My Wife gives me hell almost no-weekly for Chanel owning Holland and Holland.

I can’t wait to tell her this.

They both have retail outlets in New York and Dallas.
Coincidence?
May have been in the works for a while. The Dallas H&H store probably opened 1 1/2 years ago? Maybe 1-2 miles as the crow flies from the Beretta store.

I believe H&H closed their store in NYC. Guy went to Dallas, and Bob is one of the brokers in Country Pursuits in high end doubles, etc??

It was suggested to me today that Beretta wanted to avoid the Brexit problem - by buying H&H they may be better placed to sell their Italian guns in Britain.

Guess I won't trouble my pretty head about it, as I can scarcely afford a Pedersoli muzzleloading double ...

That's a lot of growth in a very short time.

I sure hope Beretta doesn't become the European version of Remington.

Beretta is a privately owned firm and still in family hands. They can run things as they see fit. Unlike Remington they aren't dictated to by accountants and share holders.

True. But I'd still like to see their balance sheet. Too much debt can kill any company, public or private.
