They both have retail outlets in New York and Dallas. Coincidence? May have been in the works for a while. The Dallas H&H store probably opened 1 1/2 years ago? Maybe 1-2 miles as the crow flies from the Beretta store.

It was suggested to me today that Beretta wanted to avoid the Brexit problem - by buying H&H they may be better placed to sell their Italian guns in Britain.

Beretta is a privately owned firm and still in family hands. They can run things as they see fit. Unlike Remington they aren't dictated to by accountants and share holders.
