Have a box of NF cup points I would like to try.

Q: Where would you suggest I start with RL-15? My standard load is 89gr w/foam filler.

Thanks;
Brett

My 470 shoots the NF Cupoint and Woodleigh softs or solids to the same point of impact and same velocity with identical powder charges.

In my Merkel 470, 89 gr of RL15 and a foam filler shoots the NF Cup and Solid to the same POA as 90 gr of RL15/foam filler and Woodleigh softs. VERY accurate....6 shots go into about 3" at 60 yards "from the sticks".
Velocity is about 2200 fps for both loads.

I settled on 86 gr RX 15 and got 2175+- and shot VERY well. Don't forget the max velocity design for their soft is 2200 fps, would stay slightly below that.

Brett,
I would not mess with trying to shoot those bullets...They are a POS! Since you are a first timer with the NF Cup point, I am more than willing to buy them from you. Just let me know where to send the check. I have found that they make decent fly fishing lures.

On a serious note...you you or anyone else have any cup points in .474 or .458 they would be willing to sell please let me know...I only have a few left.
