I wish Big Grin

Do you still have your beautiful 577NE Heym?

No, didn't have a Heym, but did have a few 577 VC rifles. The Heym used to be available in 577 only in the "Jumbo" sidelock action, which was $50K+. Now I understand Chris can get them made on the new Heym large boxlock action. That should bring the price down considerably.

Talk to Aaron Neilson. He has my Verney-Carron 577NE and may be using it in Mozambique in a couple of months.

Photos of it are here in the Classifieds
CCMDoc's V-C 577NE

If he doesn't buy it you might be interested.

Stay well

If you'd settle for a single barrel I have an old Jeffery for sale in .600. Dates to 1914 or thereabouts. Have some brass, dies, and cast bullets. It's on my website.

If he does want a single shooter instead, I also have a 600 for sale.

OR he could get Cals and mine and with a roll of duct tape make his own unique DR.
It'd be the only one in the world like it! Big Grin

Yup, my Bud in Mozambique has the big-bore fever, for sure. He's not even sure he could "settle" on a 577...the 600 is what he wants.

As for me, if a 500 NE can't do the job, I'd need to choose smaller game :-)
