Anybody know anything about this make of DRs? I saw one for sale, tried internet research, and came up with nothing.

Any input would be appreciated. I am looking at one on 450/400

Hi 404 Jeffery,
I own a Janssen Fils & Co in the calibre.333 Jeffery Flanged.

All that I have found so far about the rifle is.
"-Janssen & Co, Leige, Belgium became Janssen Fils & Co., c. 1892. Sometime between 1895 and 1914 the company became part of Simonis, Janssen, Dumoulin & Co. They would have marked guns intended for export to the United States "Sons" instead of "Fils"."

My gunsmith that also builds and restorates double rifles compares the quality on my rifle with a good quality British double but not first class like a H&H or Rigby.

Husky,
Good info to have. Thank you. And congratulations on your country's Olympic gold medal in hockey. Sweden was the better team on that day, although it broke the hearts of the Finns. We Canadians have some SERIOUS work to do on a national team before the 2010 Winter Olympics.
