I saw that Hornady will be producing 500/416 brass as part of their 2015 line. Thought someone here would like to know.

Great round, had a k-gun in it, a little less kick than .470. Great penetration, Ganyana has written it is popular for guides on elephant.. Cool that components are becoming available too. I used Jamison brass, 4chd dies from germany and woodleighs. 109 grains hogdon h1000 behind 410 grain bullets regulated and is what Krieghoff told me was close to regulation fodder...i chronoed it to 2370 ish fps in 24 inch tubes.
