Is there a wide variety of double rifles to fondle at the Wanenmacher's Tulsa Arms show? I'm thinking it probably will be judging by the size of this thing but I thought I would ask anyway. Also, will Butch Searcy have a table?

Thanks, KP

There will be several venders with double rifles. Champlin's will be there as well as Steve Barnett. Butch Searcy will not be there. I have 5 tables and would love for you to stop by.

MacD37 the show is October 21-22, 2006. I have 5 tables at 15-C upper deck. Harry hunter will be there with all of his good stuff. Numerous other members of the AR forums go through the show and I would invite all of those that can to meet sometime on the 21st. at my tables for the grins of it all. I know the Fl3006 and Jefeosso have been there from time to time.

I wish I would have known Champlin is in Enid because I just spent three days there while visiting a buddy of mine. Lou

I think if my health holds I will drive up there! Where is this being held? I have a double rifle I need to take to Champlin's for some repair, and could drop it off with him!

The AR get together at lb404's table would be nice as well! beer

Sounds like an interesting show. The largest show I have been to is Jackson, MS and they have the same stuff every time. I do remember one time classic arms out of Memphis came down with a few Merkel double rifles. That was a treat!

Ib404, I will be stopping by if I make the show. Thanks, KP

The Tulsa show is at the fairgrounds on 21 st. between Yale and Harvard. If you want, we could gather at 15C at a specified time on Saturday. My tables are about dead middle of the upper deck and fairly convenient to have a group meeting. If I can arrange it, I will try to get a AR banner made or bought for the occasion. I know at least 10 folks that post on the forum that are regulars at my table so lets make a meeting.

This has always been a good show for me, as a buyer. The only time I had a table was when I lived in Tulsa and didn't do very well selling. Pays to get there early, like all shows. Lots of good stuff walks through the door, but they don't like you frontrunning the door. 3800 tables takes a long time to see. Be sure and bring a note pad to write down what you might go back for or you may never find it again.

We should arrange an AR meeting in Tulsa October 21 at a specific time. It could be done at my booth area as it is on a main isle and there is plenty of room. Let me know so I can get an AR sigh/banner arranged to let folks know. 15-C on the end cap. It would be a good tradition to start as I have been there for over 20 years.
