.....but I admit I'm not all that knowledgeable about doubles but this falling block double is way cool and an interesting gun to me. Probably Austrian, caliber is listed as 11.1.

Martin Hagn built one like that on a prototype of his falling block single shot. I think the first one will be the last one.

I think that is something new for all Us !!!, very interesting gun, with ejectors maybe is more fast for reloading than the traditional doubles, thanks for sharing it, Guille.

For some reason I couldn't get his website to come up from my post, but when I print it in the search box it brings it right up.

Finally got it! He deals in German & Austrian long guns, and is in Fort Worth, Tx

I think he sold that rifle a couple of yrs ago, but I'm not sure. I've seen that picture someplace, on AR, or NE websites. CaptCurl may be able to shed some light on this rifle!, in fact he may be the one who posted it when I saw it eh first time.

Stronger action no doubt, but can't be broken down readily.
I am very sure it would be a slower reloading motion. wave

FWIW I emailed him a week or so back about another relatively cheap gun, he received email and didn't bother to reply. I didn't appreciate that. I may try him again, but then again, I may not. Even if the gun was already sold, I think I deserved the courtesy of a reply.

Actually, I was emailing him about the Baby Bretton he has for 375 pounds. I want it but I wanted to know approximately how much shipping would be to the states, etc. Plus I asked about another double shotgun he has for sale for considerably more money. Admittedly 375 pounds isn't much money, but it could, and, in my case, probably would have lead to bigger things. Probably just my fagile ego, but as a potential customer, I don't like being blown off.

BTW there is a BB for sale on GB for $890, but it's not in as good a shape as the one in England. I've always kind of wanted to play with one, I'll probably just buy that one. My general feeling goes back to my ancestors fellings on the original July 4th, "F**K the English". Just kidding to all the good Brits on here, both of you. clap

Nope, since he has an aol address, I am able to check on the status of email. He read (or opened, at least) it fairly shortly after I sent it.

Looks to me as if it had extractors - not ejectors!

Thanks Mad37, My english is not so good thumbdown, it is obvious that the weapon has extractors, what I was trying to say is that with ejectors maybe would be faster for reloading, but I dont see very accesible the chambers to put faster the cartridges.
Thanks, Mad37. Now You are My english advisor. thumb
