I have one set for the scope that came with the rifle but the rings are too high for my taste and I am interested in buying some extra rings (or the complete set) with lower rings and for 30 mm scope.

Maybe it's possible to attach some other type of rings...?

Mine did not come with rings; just a Weaver base, and that is your answer; any Weaver type ring will work. I use the Warne Quick Detach ones. Leupold makes good ones; most everyone makes rings that fit Weaver bases.

The Leupold QRW is a quick-detachable(with levers) ring that is designed to fit on a Weaver-style base. I have them on five of my double rifles and I absolutely love them. They return to zero after re-installation perfectly. They come in low, medium, and high, and in gloss black, matte black, and matte silver. Brownell's stock them, at $88.00 a set, and they will ship them outside the USA, unlike Midway who will not do so. Coincidentally, I just ordered another set of them about four hours ago, to go on the new double that I'm building in 9.3x74R.
