I am late to this thread, and a new member here, but I suggest that someone searching the forums for a load for a certain calibre eg 9.3x74R is going to have the search bring back several thousand replies with nothing but sigs though the text is totally irrelevant to the calibre in question.

join me in the idea of reminding each other of what we have at any given

moment, look at my entries beneath my SIGNATURE and make similar additions

to your SIGNATURE in your PROFILE section. Adding this information to your

SIGNATURE SECTION allows everyone to see which double rifle(s) you have

WITH EACH POST YOU ENTER. I enjoy knowing about the Hawks rifles for

example, and Tony B's, and retreever's, etc. But sometimes I forget who has
what! bewildered Well, to those that choose to make the addition to their SIGNATURE
SECTION, thanks in advance. Smiler salute

To: Marc_Stokeld,

Sir, I quoted my own opening post. If you read it you'll
see why I asked guys to do this. I really enjoy my study
of doubles and when I talk to guys about doubles the
conversation is better when you can say for example,
"Well when so and so shot his such and such rifle last
time he had this or that happen." Manhood has nothing to
do with my asking guys to do it. If you don't want to, then
don't, but there was no call at all to be rude or insulting
toward me or any other guy who has chosen to participate.
If you are a gentleman who has just made a judgement
error by typing something uncalled for because you had
a bad day that too is fine. Just say that's what happened
and on we'll go enjoying this forum. If you're so insecure
in YOUR manhood that you can't admit an error then you
have far bigger problems than I do.
If you read again my
opening post and still believe that I am trying to prove my
manhood and that I feel others are proving their manhood
by listing their doubles in their signature areas then you
do not understand English. I also state in my opening post
that I realize some people are more "private" than others
and that is their choice. So show that you are a gentleman,
or show that you are something less. I myself have NEVER
flippantly insulted ANYONE on this forum and I am 48 years
old. "The ball is in YOUR court."

Jack-

You need to grow a pair of balls. I can't believe a person of your age (48 as stated in your sniveling little email to me) gets his feelings hurt so easily. Man, you take yourself and other things WAY too seriously. You are 48, act like it!

One of the things that is weakening and tearing our country down is that today people are always looking for an excuse to be offended. People are just dying to find a reason to get huffy and demand an apology. Well sir, you won’t get one from me. I am not sorry and will not pretend that I am just to mend your fragile feelings. You are taking yourself way too seriously and have overestimated your importance in this world.

My goal was to make it to 48 years old. I am currently 38 and will never make it for 10 more years. I will be lucky to get 3 and I’ll be damned if I am going to spend any of my last few days apologizing to some stranger who is going around just looking for a reason to be offended. If you were as important as you think you are, then maybe I would consider apologizing to you. No, still would not do it.

You would have never made it through my junior high school with your sniveling little attitude as expressed in your email to me. Even when we were 13 we had to have bigger balls than you express here. You would have been chewed up and spit out. If you think you are so important that someone cannot jab a thumb in your ribs from time to time, well, I will not waste any of my precious time on apologizing to you.

Respectfully yours,

Marc Stokeld

with that attitude you dont need to wait 3 years, curl up under that rock and die now for all i care.
why you responded to this tread would be a good question to yourself, waisting time that you dont have enough of anyway.

with you not listing guns you dont have so you can feel manly is very good.

now go waste the rest off your short life somewhere else.

Marc,

In all sincerity I pray that what ever afflicts you and is

threatening your life will miraculously go into a 100% remission.

I hope you have the physical strength to enjoy any and all

of the the shooting sports that you choose for the rest of your life,

however long that life is. As a Christian I strive to do what is

truly right. I am disappointed in myself sometimes, but I am con-

fident that this honest post is the RIGHT thing. Keep fighting. thumb

As I guessed in my post above, shown in bold red lettering,

you DO have far bigger problems than I do...

Below is the PM which Marc called an email that I sent to him.

Marc_S,

If you return to the thread about

listing double rifles in our signaures

which I started, you'll see that I have

replied to your terse post. I have no

idea why you felt that you had to be

so insulting. I have NEVER done that on
a forum and I am 48 yrs old. Confused

Cordially,
Jack

To All,

Another of the threads that I have started has flown

wildly of course. Oh well... As with the other one recently,

I will NOT view this one again, and I recommend that we
all move on to the fun stuff. wave

Jack, Nothing wrong with your post! Something appears to be wrong with Marc and I hope he's not implying he has a terminal illness!

Marc, If you didnt like Jacks suggestion you shouldve moved down the page. THAT would have been the grown up thing to do.

Gentlmen:

I would urge caution, there are wolves out there doing dope who are always looking for a new sheep. Unfortunately they will steal whatever they can find. I am an Idaho State court trial judge who handles criminal cases every day and am amazed with their ingenuity in finding new victims. Don't invite trouble.

That went to the wrong thread, it was supposed to be attached to the one where everyone is identifying what rifles they have.

Why are you such a pathetic ass?? Forget I asked, I could care less. Why don't you go elsewhere if you have to be rude and obnoxious.
