Any one have a good .450/.400 load for the CEB .409 bullets (solids or non-cons)? My Searcy is regulated for 82 grains of IMR 4831, F215 and 400 grain Woodleigh SN. Trying to come up with a good load for the Searcy using the CEB bullets. Thanks. Mike

Sam told me to go with the load that works already. I'm going to back off a few grains and see how it works. I haven't done it yet `cause it's too chilly here. So far most guns will shoot well using CEBs and the that regulates with the same weight bullet.

And use the same powder charge with the non-cons even though the bullet is lighter? Mike

That's been my experience with CEB solids and Non-cons - same powder and charge, same place even though Non-cons are lighter. I'll dig out my 450/400 data and send it to you when I find it. Mike, That's correct. I think the theory is that the solids and NCs are the same length and same bearing surface area which evidently are more important than the actual weight. It's worked that way so far in my 9.3 and 500.
