How's Jamison's Brass Quality?

Question:
What say you all based on your experiences?
Is JAMISON making sound quality brass? I see
my caliber at under $2.00 per piece if I buy 200
pieces. I don't want to waste my money though.

Choices:
Yes -Sound Product Quality
O.K. Quality
Low Quality - Not Recommended

I've used Jamison brass in my 470 and it seems to be good stuff. Case length was very uniform, flash holes were clean and the case mouths were not all dented up like new brass sometimes is.

Jack,
I have been using them for 2-3 years in a 500NE. Very happy with them. I have loaded some 4-5 times now at full power and don't see any problems. Also have some I have loaded 7-8 times with the light 5744 loads and cast powder.
You might price your brass at:
www.buffaloarms.com before you make a decision. Their prices are generally lower than most other places, and they usually have items in stock.

Good luck,

I have used jamison in .470,.500 and .577 and find nothing wrong with them and will continue to use them as I have been happy with their customer service as well. I personally like to order straight from them.

Jack: I used it in .577 3-inch BPE and now use it in .577-450 Martini. I like it.

I have reloaded Jamison brass in 505 Gibbs 8 times and have had to trim them but they remain sound and primer pockets tight. Good Stuff as far as I am concerned, reminds me of the 416 Rigby brass made by Norma.

The display of PURE POWER is nothing short of AWESOME !
