Please include some pictures of your new addition and if you do not mind, please tell us if new or used and what you had to give for it. I know it might not be appropriate to ask but I believe that knowing what the price was helps some of us lurkers educate ourselves on what we should expect to pay for such a nice working double. Congrats again

Hi guys,
Thanks so much for the words of encouragement. I've certainly wanted to own one of these rifles for a few years, and finally decided to make the plunge! I shot it for the first time tonight, and I was very pleased, I was hitting about a 4-5 inch group for all the shots I placed, with the barrels producing 2-3 inch groups... from off hand, at 25 yds. Considering I've never shot a 500, and this is only my 2nd time to shoot a double I was very pleased.

I can see how this will be addicting, this is all I needed, another forum to check in addition to african, and all the others that haunt me!

That's better than I would be shooting any rifle in any caliber if I saw a deer like the one on that "Deer Chow" bag here! Eeker Big Grin

Great shooting and you are definitely in trouble.

Lane,
Dr. Derr was busy this weekend, he's pumped to shoot it! I'm sure we'll get to the range sometime this week! Well, I take that back, this week is the Daytona, so he'll be glued to the tube!

He's not hardcore like me and you!
