Everyone,
Have searched the threads here extensively and wanted to confirm prior to placing order.

Looking for a solid to use in my c 1925 Geyger sxs 9.3x74R; as I understand it, the North Fork cupped solid should be a good bet. It is monolithic in construction, but has proper driving bands.
Just to verify my bore dimensions, I will take a Cerrosafe cast before ordering. . .
I haven't called NF yet, but does anyone know if they sell in quantities less than 50? Will be attempting to regulate a load w/ these and if it doesn't work out will have a surplus (at $2/bullet).
Thanks,
Bill

Bill,
The general consensus is that the NF bullet will work fine in a double due to the banded design. I would think you should be fine. I have used them in my 9.3 Chapuis and my Searcy 470’s with no trouble. They are a great bullet. At one time Mike (the original owner) would sell smaller packs for load development. Not sure if the new owners still do however I would bet they will be willing to work with you on your request. I expect if you were to buy a box and find they did not work, someone(like Me) would buy your leftovers. You can also use Woodleigh solids. They work fine and will not harm your double.

Good luck!

We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and fined if we don't, Which purportedly covers at least ten million more people, without adding a single new doctor, but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that didn't read it but exempted themselves from it, and signed by a President, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, for which we'll be taxed for four years before any benefits take effect, by a government which has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that's broke!!!!! 'What the hell could possibly go wrong?'

Ditto what Rosco said! If you find they do not regulate well in your rifle, I too would be willing to buy what you have left!

Great-exactly the news I was looking for. I'll give NF a call later today to see if I can get a smaller batch; if not, and they don't work, will pass them on to someone here.
Now to find primers and powder. . . fun times we're in for reloading.
Cheers,
Bill
