One will improve the man behind the gun. The other will hinder him! Take a guess!

Double rifles, including double rifle drillings vs bolt rifles.

Yes most of the tiome a bolt rifle will shoot tighter grpups off of the bench vs a double barreled gun...

However in the field I can shoot on game a double rifle or a double rifle drilling just as good as I can a bolt rifle of similar calibre and of the same sighting system.

I can hit the 16" 500 yard metal gongs with my combo gun and my drillings/double rifle drillings with scopes just as often as I can with my Blaser R 93's.

I have shot my 450 No2 double rifle side by side quite a lot with a Weatherby DGR in 458 Win Mag.

Shooting at 25, 50, 75, and 100 yards you could not tell the difference, by looking at the targets between the two. And the 458 Win mag used a scope at 75 and 100 yards.
