Hi, today I was at the shooting ranch in the Heym factory. There I see two great new doubles (finished today), with great wood, intaria and metal work. Plus engraving. The first is for the USA, the second for Russia. You can see the different kind of styls, of wood, engraving, pp. Here I send you two pictures. (I can not post more details, because I dont know, if the new owners likes that.)

No, it's just the angle of the photograph.

I much prefer the wood in the top example, but the engraving with the side plates is a better canvas for that purpose! Would prefer English rose&scroll to animals! I don't like gold plated triggers! they tend to wear and look cheap after a little use! ....Mac >>>===(x)===> MacD37, ...and DUGABOY1 DRSS Charter member "If I die today, I've had a life well spent, for I've been to see the Elephant, and smelled the smoke of Africa!"~ME 1982 Hands of Old Elmer Keith

Nice but the price will be very steep for these doubles.
