Rusty This was a set of pictures I lifted from a post on NE to see what wrench was needed to remove the stock from my modle 140E Merkel. I need to investigate a suddenly hard trigger pul on the right barrel! I'm not sure this rifle has the recoil reducer iron in it;s stock! The rifle is about 12 years old and needs a little attention in the locks. cleaning and lubeing as well! Rusty sorry to hear about your brother!
