Two years ago when I attended SHOT, I was seated on the hotel bus next to a nice British gentlemen who was coming to Vegas for a show which specialized in doubles. I no longer recall the name of the show and cannot seem to locate it on the Web. There are other gun shows going on at the same time as SHOT in Vegas, but none seem to specialize in DRs.

Does anyone know what this DR show might be?

But in looking over their programs earlier, I don't see any concentration on DRs, hence my post. The British gentlemen planned to spend several $100K on DRs; many from the early decades of the 20th century. He was going to take them back to Europe.

Could the shows you mention possibly fit that category of DR quality and breadth? Nothing in the programs suggest that; possibly an oversight?

I don’t know about the shot show but the Las Vegas Antique Arms Show has some of the best I know 2 verey good sources of good English guns will be at The DSC show and probably in Vegas Champlain’s Firearms and Willoughby McCabe & Co. There is a nouther big dealer but I can’t remember his name right now. You could easily spend several times the number quoted at either booth. I haven’t mentioned the top English and European makers who will be there. I almost forgot that Mr. Galazan while a manufacture always has some striking English guns in inventory

It is generally referred to as the Beinfeld Show, and also named as in the first post, Antique Arms Show....as well as the International Arms Show, a different room.

It used to be loaded with double rifles in the good old days. Many of the good brokers no longer show there...politics and conflict with other shows.

There are always some nice double rifles there but not like it used to be!! It is always a great show for all antique and collectors to attend when in town
