Made by Ken Owen, and most probably no one gets to shoot it twice because the recoil will kill you instantly Big Grin

I think putting multiple sight leaves on something like that is a trifle optimistic, don't you? Smiler

Naw! The flip up sights are for your second and third shots, etc... 'cause you'll be knocked backward 100 yards each trigger pull.

Remember when Safarikid has Ken Owens make him the 4-Bore Mastadon? It was 26 lbs, and he had a harness made so his tracker in Africa could carry it.

I can't seem to get a perspective on the photos. How long are the barrels?

4s are fun but impractical. I've had three. One single and two doubles and kept one double. Recoil with Blue Dot in my 22-pound rifle is manageable. The same velocity with a load of FFg is damn painful. My rifle was made for a conical of 1882 grains and 390 grains of black C&H no.6. and so marked on the barrels. (Made about 1890). 4 1/4 ounces and 390 grains of GOEX 2F will really rock your world.
