Anyone know of a competent gunsmith who knows DRs in the bay area? Qualified 'smiths seem to have disappeared in this area, probably due to the cost of living. I'd rather not have to ship my DR.

Thanks everyone for your replies. I decided that if I have to ship it to someone then I might as well ship it to JJ at Champlin. Called and talked with him and the rifle has gone out. What I asked for:
Trigger job to 4# front & 5# rear
Replace recoil pad
Insert MRR
File front sight to 45 degree angle
Install Weaver mount
Sent my EOTech for his advice

I'll Let you know when it's returned.
