A guy more knowledgeable than I said it is refurbished, but I don't care. It is a thing of beauty and have some pics of it in my new book that is coming out in a couple weeks. Hand detachable locks, etc. Whoever did the refurb did an excellent job. God, I am in love with that rifle but alas .... And the thing about the .476 WR NE is that it shoots a 520 gr. bullet, and all that implies. That is too cool for school. The one round that Taylor admits that he never shot. And a single trigger Westley Richard double. Any of you been to the Boise Cabela's or read Elmer Keith's book "Safari"? Cabela's has one of his Best Grade WR's there, and it is shown in his book. Page 95 shows his "Matched Pair". His collection, just the ones shown in the book is about two and a half million 2010 dollars. One of the greatest days of my life was sitting in his living room surrounded by all these double rifles. It just goes to show you how subjective the pricing of a second hand double can be.  Start WAY too high and work down, can't go in the other direction. My guess is that it will sell well under 30K | |||

A WR droplock ejector in .476 will likely never see the light of the 20,000s. That is as long as it's in good shape and not mucked with. I wish it had 2 triggers and some scroll engraving. Oh well.
