.246 Purdey
Hello

Has anyone owned,seen or shot a .246 Purdey ?

If i am not mistaken it was a 100 grain bullet with 2800+ fps

I have never come across any. The .369's are very rare but isnt .246 rarer

The 246 Purdey was introduced in 1921 for use in their double rifles, and was never very popular, and is now obsolete.

The factory ammo 100 gr bullet @ 2950fps, producing 1934 FPE at muzzle, about the same as the 243 Win. The 240 Flanged Magnum from H&H was almost the exact same ballisticlly, but was far more popular with the shooting public!
