If anyone else wanted this rear sight for their Baikal double it is on sale currently at Midway USA. The sale price is $30.59 which is a $5.40 discount. The price changed while I was shopping. I never get that lucky. Link to the sight below

I want a ghost ring/peep for my Bk 30-06 but I am afraid that this sight will be quite tall and I will then also have to fool with a front sight replacement. Have you tried one of these before or are you just experimenting? PLEASE keep us updated when you get it put together.

I am going by what others have posted. I also ordered a replacement front sight that has a fiber optic in it. Between the front sight being able to be adjusted and the rear adjustment I should be able to get it lined up. The sights that came on the rifle just don't work great for me. I was able to get it shooting minute of hog and minute of deer but hope I can do better with sights that are easier to see.

Update got both sights in the mail yesterday. The rear was fitted in about half an hour. The front did not have the same thread. The thread on the sight is coarse while the stock sight had fine thread. Now I need to figure out a new front sight.

Using the factory front for now painted it with white out. The peep makes front sight acquisition much faster. Eventually I will look for another front sight. I am looking for a die to make a front sight.
