| FJ: Mine handles nicely. I've seen SxS shotguns of the same price that seem clubby by comparison. Now this could be just mine, or it could be because its new, but I don't think so.

| I also bought one from another source but have not received it yet, I was told there is restriction on the ammo pressure range that these rifles are made for. Does the manual state this

| I hate to join the "speculation fest" on pressure and this gun. But if I were a tort attorney associated with Remington and had paid any attention to the comments on this forum about this rifle over the past three years or so, I would come out of the gate with a lot of conservative pressure talk, too.

| Bill, While you are correct, I think it is safe to say that no one from Remington or any of the other major manufacturers regularly visit this site or we wouldn't see them turning out some of the $Hit that they do. Or at least they would have been a lot quicker in getting the doubles here. |

The one's at SHOT SHOW had "28,000 psi max" stamped directly on the barrels. That is what SAAMI max is for 45-70. So that means Winchester, Remington, Hornady etc. ammo will be OK in it. Buffalo Bore, Garrett, Cor-Bon etc, will not be OK, as it is not loaded to SAAMI spec. (they may have loads that are, make sure to check before you buy.) |

| Does anyone have a range report on these yet? Buy a box of 405gr remington factory loads and lets see what we are starting with. It needs to shoot good before we start hotroding the loads. |

| My local gunshop checked with a Remington rep on Saturday, and they are NOT importing these into Canada. Some contract issue with the Baikal distributor, or some such BS. Bastids!!!! Who's got an FFL and can arrange to drop one to me at the border in Port Huron, Michigan??? |
