A while back, I picked up a new condition Merkel 220e 9.3x74r O/U with claw mounts. It is 1993 vintage. The person I picked it up from had lost the rings for the claw mount. I'd like to find a set but am struggling.

I looked at NECG and they have plenty of claw mounts but none look like the ones I need.

I recently bought a Merkel 140 in 6.5x55 and it has the same style claw rings that I need. In fact, the ones for my 140 fit perfectly on my 220e.

Where do I find Merkel claw mount rings?

Have you tried contacting Merkel direct? They might have them or steer you to who does? Just a thought.

Photos might help. Are there any model numbers on the rings etc?

No numbers or anything on the claw bases or the rings that are on the 140. I'll try Larry's suggestion and get a hold of Merkel directly tomorrow.
