I'm looking at a Jeffery DR in 9.3x74r. I think this is one of the re-bores that Roberts did for the German market. Anyhow I'm lost as to price. It is in good condition. The bores look good. It was re-regulated and proofed. The stock was refinished and the they even put a nice glow in the dark front sight.

I've looked and have not found any that have sold so I would like to get a price range. I don't want to get caught up in it and over pay. Any thoughts?

Do you mean Paul Roberts, a la London who re did all the Rigby sidelocks from 350 to 9.3 ?

I have one of his Rigby Sidelocks in 375 Fl Mag
that was rebored from 350.

He did them well.

If it has been re proofed and re finished, you shouldn't have any problems. Way better than some of the back yard jobs done in the USA.

Price. It's a hard one.

It is marked under the forend "re-proofed j. roberts co". The are in business now in London. They started up in 1950. May be the same person/company you are referring to.
It looks like a quality job but still I do not to over pay.
