Wow, that is impressive.

Don't know if it was the same man but I saw a 17HMR at SCI in Las Vegas several years ago. The man I spoke to who built the rifle said that it was built in conjunction with testing the 'NEW' 17HMR round for Hornady. It was a top-lever if memory serves me. Beautiful little thing. He also had a 22LR as I remember. Price of the 17 at that time was $100K. He said it shot as good as it looked and had the targets to prove it.

Man that guy knows how to do ingraving/carving. Have a look at the 500 Jeffery that has a Hippo head carved in the front of the action, Snake as a bolt handle etc. I don't think I could even afford to take it out of the safe to look at, let alone take hunting.

If you have that much to fight for, then you should be fighting. The sentiment that modern day ordinary Canadians do not need firearms for protection is pleasant but unrealistic. To discourage responsible deserving Canadians from possessing firearms for lawful self-defence and other legitimate purposes is to risk sacrificing them at the altar of political correctness."

I just got a reply from him.

95 000 € for the "plain" versjon, and only 135 000€ for the hummingbird versjon.

Multipli the Euro with 1.25, and you get dollars.

It took them 3 years to develop..
