I had a Westley Richards pre-war rifle in 425 Westley Richards and iy is a rebated rim cartridge. I have never seen or heard of a flanged versuin. | |||

Flemming shows a "semi rimmed" case, basically similar to what a converted 404 looks like. Hoyem mentions a 425 experimental rimmed version being reported but adds "no specimen was available for study". If you wanted to make one a 450 basic case would probably be the place to start, after you get a reamer. Best | |||
