They are hard to find...but some places seem to have a few. I found a box a few weeks ago at a local shop. They were the first I have seen in over a year. Keep looking and be patient! I have used Winchester in my 470 with no problems, but like you prefer Federal.

We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and fined if we don't, Which purportedly covers at least ten million more people, without adding a single new doctor, but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that didn't read it but exempted themselves from it, and signed by a President, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, for which we'll be taxed for four years before any benefits take effect, by a government which has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that's broke!!!!! At Sportsman's Warehouse they get 1000 or 2000 of them about every 6 months. However, last time I was in Arizona, Dillon's had just gotten in a shipment of Federal primers, so I would try there first.

Have you been by your local Sportsman's Warehouse? They have closed down around hear.
watchman,
I wish I had known you needed some I saw plenty at The Wanamaker gun show in Tulsa this weekend. Could you add your location to your signature as it helps to know where you are when answering questions.

Bill,

Our Sportsman's in Midvale, UT is still open. I have heard they are having cash flow trouble, and they certainly do not seem interested in replacing inventory that sells as there seem to be a lot of gaps on the shelves. They are carrying oddball stuff that sells in low volume, but leaving the shelves bare of items that turn over quickly, leaving me puzzled.

Rule of thumb, always keep a thousand around when things are a little dry. Actually if you are going on a hunt soon and need some let me know.

I spoke with a lady at Federal yesterday (Tuesday). She said that they did not think they would be able to fulfill civilian order for at least a year.

Having said that, they are still shipping some primers. They are just gobbled up by back orders and standing orders the wholesellers have.

Watchman, I don't know where you are located, but I was able to buy 1000 at a Scheel's in Sioux Falls last week. I spoke with Federal as well, and was told to expect the shortage to conyinue at least 12-18 months. As an aside, I asked whether the 216 would ever be made available, and was given a definite "no".
