The name of W.J.Jeffery was purchased from J. Roberts in early 2010 by "a group of US investors". W.J.Jeffery guns are currently made in the USA by Buehler Custom Sporting Arms. I do not know if anyone else is licensed to make them.

Buehler Custom Sporting Arms

I thought it odd for London guns to be made by a Swiss gun maker who relocated to Canada and then the USA. But I have seen the rifles and guns and they look to be as good as one would expect in a "London" gun.

Jeffery was purchased by H&H early 1960s, must have sold it to Roberts along the way, then "American investors", Buehler. Hard to think of it now in same terms as the old W. Jeffery, but Buehler seems to be an excellent gunsmith with the right skills and aesthetics.

Reto is a magnificent gunmaker.
He is not owner....a silent Texas "investor" owns the name/company....I can't tell!!
They still start with British proofed barreled actions....
Nice Bolt rifle was on display at SCI....one bolt gun at $35K USD. They do doubles too....

Cheers,

Friedkin owns the W. J. Jeffery records.

They are kept at his ranch. His ranch does not have road access as I have been told. When they get enough requests for Jeffery Records, they fly someone out to the ranch to look up the requests.

Side note. Friedkin also owns 3, count them 1,2,3, airworthy P-51 Mustangs.
I was told he wanted to mount the 50s in one plane to strafe the hogs on his ranch!?

Whos says money can't buy FUN?

Fredkin has an Air Force truth be known....including Gulfstream 5's to fly to his TGT hunting operations, with its own charter aircraft, in Tanzania.
I believe he lives in California where his Toyota dynasty is headquartered....and his warbird aircraft collection. He works with the guys at Chino, Planes of Fame Museum and famous Steve Hinton of Reno race fame....and his son also Steve, having just won 2 Gold Heat's in a row!!
If one makes inquiries on Jeffrey you deal with Charles Williams. He was at SCI as well, quite a knowledgeable and nice guy.
Absolutely BRILLIANT Rifles!!...in My Humble Opinion.

Thanks 470Eddy.

I think he lives in Colorado near Denver and has the Gulf States Toyota Dealerships.

Seems I was born to the wrong parents Wink

Any photos of recently made Jeffery rifles?

Cheers, Chris

May be proofed in Britian, but they are made by Peter Hambrusch, good solid action.

I think Reto would make a Dandy double--worthy of the WJ Jeffery name...
