You are so right. Both stink. I know for a fact that the Merkel folks here in the US are fed up with the lack of attention the Merkel website gets in making it useable. It literally sucks.

There is a real lack of website information on newly made double rifles.

I would love to see someone whit a lot of web save to post s list of web links to the best sites for each of the most popular double rifle makes from the working class box-locks to the top of the line side-lock double rifle brands.
That would be a very big help to people trying to decide what the want to buy.

Pretty easy for any importer to make their own web site and tailor it to the customers they are trying to reach.


My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

Most manufacturers aren't web developers. This is even more true with small family run businesses.

They don't need to be. There are company's that provide that service.
