Ok.. I posted this on the hunting board, but thought my DR buddies would like to see this monster..
the game warden is 6'5" and the gator is 23'1"

MacD3723.1 feet would be very large, even for a salt water crock, but 13 feet for an allagator ain't no salamander, either! That's a big gator anyplace, even for Texas!

470CapstickA2I pulled it from a email with the web story attached... either way, whatever the real size.. he's big..
I blew up the pic and looked for some cut and paste pixeling... but I can't see any, but the pic isn't of a high enough quality to really get a detailed look..
Dak... is that second sentence in English??

I don't think the picture was doctored. I just think it is the perspective of the shot. Gator is real close to the camera.

Mike SmithGentleman I dont know about doctoring the photo but I have hunted gators. Any gator over 13 feet is a really big gator. They just dont dont reach the proportions that crocs do. And yes the perspective of the camera makes a big difference. I would believe 13 foot if someone told me the story but not some ridiculous figure like 23.
