A 356 Winchester Double?
Would a 356 winchester be the perfect double for north america?
Pros/Cons?

I got to thinking last night that for me at least, a 35 caliber rimmed cartridge in handy size double would let you hunt anything in North America and even some of the dark continent. The quest for a left handed mauser type 358 lead me down this path. But wow, talk about an expensive idea.

Any thoughts on this idea? Or has anyone ever seen this mythical creature?

No need to reinvent the wheel. Many have been made in .35 Winchester, .400/.350, .400/.360, .350 No. 2, and 9.3X74R, all better choices for a double rifle.

The 9,3x74R is the best and perfect double rifle calibre under .400cal.

Perfect in every way.
