Guys, I had some surgery on my leg in March and after the surgery, some follow up radiation. Because of the radiation, I had a dickens of a time getting the surgical incision to heal. It got infected and I landed in the hospital again and now I am wearing this thing called a wound vacuum. Three time a week they change the dressing on the wound. Each new dressing pack comes with a large piece of one inch thick foam which looks perfect for a foam wad. From the large piece they cut out and use a much smaller piece so, I have all this left over perfect foam wadding that I have been saving. I don't use foam wads but I know some of you do so if you want some foam to make wads out of, drop me a PM and I will send it on to you.

Ron, hopefully I am on the mend.

Where you been keeping yourself? You know I still have the Prestige frame you sold me. Golly, I love that gun.

I use a 50BMG case to cut my filler wads from 2" foam blocks. Works on 1" as well. I sharpen the mouth every 30 or so, with a twist of a RCBS case champfer tool. I use a small piece of wood to back up the foam. I can cut several hundred in an hour. These wads fit both 450 and 500 cases. Cheap and easy... Give it a try.
