Anyone have or know where I can find a cartridge diagram for the .475 NE (3 1/4")? I know it can be formed from .450 NE brass but was interested in exact dimensions. Thanks.

Thanks, but does not appear that the .475 NE is listed just the two .475 No. 2's. :-( Also checked CIP/SAAMI.

Pondoro, that Kynoch chart looks perfect, except that they intentionally made the picture so small you cannot read it . . . forcing you to buy it I presume.

Cal, Cartridges of the World contains no dimensions, at least for the .475 NE. Not familiar with Flemming or Hoyem.

Mike,

Here is the data on the 475 # 1/4" from Flemming.

He sampled several cartridges of that caliber and reported the minimum and maximum measurements.

Rim thk. .037 .042
Base .576 .580

Hoyem lists the bullet diameter as .482, rim diam. .614, shoulder diam. .504, O.A. length 4.06.

Thanks Walt.

If anyone has a copy of the Kynoch chart that is readable, that would be great. Trying to get what appears to be measurement "E" on the chart for the .475 NE.

Is this a great place or what? Thank you. Allow me to press my luck. What is the measurement from the rim to where measurement "E" is made?
