Anybody? The only thing I've found in print so far is 62.0 gr of RL 19. ______________________ RMEF Life Member SCI DRSS Chapuis 9,3/9,3 + 20/20 Simson 12/12/9,3 Zoli 7x57R/12 Kreighoff .470/.470 We band of 9,3ers! The Few. The Pissed. The Taxpayers.

Hi LRH270 - until something useful pops up - a 293gr. TUG - 61gr of IMR 4350 gets you near 2250 fps - just for a comparison.

I don't remember the exact load with my Chapuis in the 9.3 but my rifle liked IMR 4831 the best (tried R-15, Varget, and IMR 4350) with the 300grain Swift. Dirk "An individual with experience is never at the mercies of an individual with an argument"

65 gr H4831, regulates to the same impact as the 286 norma or RWS factory loads in my beretta

Keep 'em coming; I can't quite slow 286s down enough to un-cross, so 300s are on the menu next......... ______________________ RMEF Life Member SCI DRSS Chapuis 9,3/9,3 + 20/20 Simson 12/12/9,3 Zoli 7x57R/12 Kreighoff .470/.470 We band of 9,3ers! The Few. The Pissed. The Taxpayers.

LRH270, I find that my Chapuis seems to like IMR 4831 and not much else. Even though the burn rates of RL-19 and IMR 4831 are close ... it could be just different enough. Mike -- I tried 4831 with the 286s; it's the least cross-eyed of the bunch, but still crosses. 300s are next to try a big slow down. Then, see how they shoot in the OTHER 3 rifles Les ______________________ RMEF Life Member SCI DRSS Chapuis 9,3/9,3 + 20/20 Simson 12/12/9,3 Zoli 7x57R/12 Kreighoff .470/.470 We band of 9,3ers! Have you thought about trying a different primer in order to change barrel time? DB Bill aka Bill George

Good point Bill, I had to change from a 215 to a 210 primer for mine to regulate well. "An individual with experience is never at the mercies of an individual with an argument"
